Do I need a professional qualification?

There is no need of a professional qualification, however, we recommend the course to people who have handcraft training and craftsmanship talent. The training is a qualification measure and helps to embark on a new career field.

What do the course levels mean?

The FISAT certification for Rope Access Technicians takes place in three stages. The basic course is the first step in order to do the second level. Level 1 and Level 2 courses can consecutively be completed. The Level 3 course for rope access supervisors is aimed for experienced and long-standing active height workers.
Candidates for the course SZP Level 3 must prove at least 250 days of work experience with the qualification as Rope Access Technician (FISAT logbook) and the examination or the last refresher course in Level 2 must not be older than 18 months.

Can I skip the Level 1?

FISAT regulations do not allow to skip any level.  People who have done sports climbing for several years often are looking forward to skip the first level.  Each course is mandatory and specifically designed to be taken one after the other.

Do I need climbing skills?

There must not be previous climbing skills.

What are the chances of finding a job after concluding a course?

The number of companies that offer jobs as an industrial climber is constantly growing. Chances of finding a stable job position or as a freelance worker are especially good for industrial climbers, to gather practical experience and as well to continually master a handcraft.
Currently many trained industrial climbers are required in the wind energy industry. Our students will be saved in our company database. Therefore, when required, we will consider former students for potential jobs or projects.
