FISAT SZP Level 1

Rope access technician basic course

The basic course for rope access and positioning techniques (SZP) provides the main elements of the rope access working methodology. This course is aimed those without any prior knowledge in the field and no previous rope access qualifications are required. A successful qualification for rope access technician is a requirement for the practice of any activity as an industrial climber.

Rope Access Technician

The Level 2 course for rope access and positioning techniques (SZP) provides advanced theoretical knowledge and practical applications. In this context, there is a strong focus on a technical further qualification. SZP courses Level 1 and Level 2 can be taken consecutively.

Rope Access Supervisor

The Level 3 course (SZP) for rope access supervisors is aimed for experienced and long-standing active height workers. The focus of this necessary administrative step is on deepening the regulatory aspects of the rope access techniques. Designed for industrial climbers in leading positions and with a strong interest in extended rope access technologies.

Refresher courses Level 1–3

FISAT WU SZP

Annual refresher courses are essential for the safe execution of rope-assisted work techniques and procedures required by FISAT. When these refresher courses are not performed on a regular basis, the documents issued by FISAT are no longer valid! We regularly offer refresher courses in all levels of education. Short-notice applications for our courses in Berlin are possible anytime.

Personal Fall Protection Equipment for work at height

(PFPE)

Everyone who works regularly or occasionally at a height or in areas with a risk of falling, should be instructed in the use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment for work at height (PFPE) in accordance with the German Employer’s Liability Insurance Association standards and regulations (BGR 198/199). This training should be conducted before the first practice (application) as well as in a continuous practice at least once a year.

Annual Training

(PFPE)

The German Employer’s Liability Insurance Association standards and regulations (BGR 198/199) demands an annual refresher training in the use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment for work at height (PFPE) to everyone who works regularly or occasionally at a height or in areas with a risk of falling. The theoretical knowledge as well as the fundamental problems associated with the safe use of PFPE will be repeated and reviewed, emphasising the required rescue techniques through practical exercises.

Free Rope Access Trial Training

All individuals with a passion for heights and those interested in rope access technology, beginners, professionals, users of other systems / professional associations - are cordially invited to free trial climbing and training at Nawrocki Alpin training centre.  The newbies get briefed on the basics of industrial climbing and an overview of the areas of application of height workers. In our training centre, you will have the opportunity to learn and practice practical rope access and positioning techniques, such as climbing the rope, abseiling and various knots all under professional guidance. Trained rope access technicians of all levels (with valid certificate) and professional associations will find the opportunity to strengthen, perfect, and improve their techniques during this training.
